What is Port Harbor?

Port Harbor is a fictional town in the world of Grand Theft Auto. It is largely modeled after Portland Maine with small sections being derived from Scarborough Maine as well as Westbrook Maine. The map itself was designed by Tyler Bernier and is situated just north of Liberty City.

Features

If you cannot tell already, the map is an island just like every other map in Grand Theft Auto history. The color scheme is largely based off of the maps of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

To the North of the bay, you have Peach Tree (Old Orchard Beach). A very large beach with a pier and lots of shops and motel near the shore. To the east of Peach Tree beach, there are some homes situated on a cliffside overlooking the bay and Summit Island (Peaks Island).

In downtown Port Harbor, there are many tall, brick buildings and apartments with shops and a nice plaza near the center. All the way on the Northeastern shore of the city you have the school. Situated on North Ball road (Eastern Promenade), the school has one of the most scenic views in all of Port Harbor.

All the way to the west of the city is the old Civil War fort and lighthouse. Although the fort was decomissioned a long time ago, the ligthouse remains operational.

The city has all the fixins of a normal city. Downtown, Jetport, Ghetto, Suburbs, Wealthy Suburbs, and even forested areas. This island is just asking to be played on.
